Embedding in MUMC+
To ensure the efficient implementation of valuable infrastructure and available expertise, a Users Council was established to allow researchers to actively contribute to the design, the equipment and the daily operational processes. The Users Council can be regarded as IDEE’s Quality Control Circle and represents IDEE users within the biomedical, clinical and behavioural science departments at the MUMC+.
The council advises and supports the managers, heads of department and team leaders on organisational issues, practical issues and meta-level policies. The council will advise on such issues as how to organise the quality and capacity assurance service. On the meta level, the council will evaluate the significance of contracts in terms of quality, cost and duration. The council will also advise on complex cases that involve the implementation of projects by drawing on its own internal expertise or by consulting external professionals or organisations. The Users Council will intervene when discrepancies arise between IDEE and the users.
